Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission Begins Selling Online Tickets with US eDirect


The Pennsylvania state agency tasked with maintaining and promoting some of the most unique and historic sites in the United States introduced a new ticketing and membership system today at the state’s history center in Harrisburg designed to make it easy for visitors to enjoy the sites and for managers to better serve visitors.

The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC) collaborated with a global leader in ticketing, reservation and point of sale management to introduce a cloud-based solution that delivers powerful reporting designed to help site leaders generate additional revenue and provide improved park services across the historic sites.



US eDirect, which provides similar digital reservation and pass management solutions for dozens of municipalities, states and countries, collaborated with the Pennsylvania commission to deploy the news Ticketing, Event and Membership Management System (TEMMS) across its sites.

US eDirect will be rolling out similar online booking functionality across the agency’s other sites throughout 2021 to allow visitors a more convenient user experience.

The US eDirect solution allows for booking of prearranged group tours for schools, motor coaches and also includes delivering automated confirmation emails and check-in.

The solution delivers flexible, ad-hoc reporting that includes on-demand per site reporting of daily visitors, user transactions and other key performance indicators.

All of the US eDirect solutions satisfy the Generally Accepted Account Principles (GAAP).
